We started our business in 1957, selling locally produced potatoes, onions, cereals, and vegetables. In those long-gone times, Henrique Fiel Lourenço even sold olive oil and wine! Over sixty years later, the company is dedicated to importing and exporting a wide range of exotic fruits and vegetables.

An open-minded company, we seek out new products of our own initiative or when enterprising clients want to offer more unusual products to consumers. Nowadays, Fiel stands out thanks to the flavours, aromas, quality, and food safety it has to offer.

Our mission is to deliver quality foodstuff in a swift manner, that is profitable for our clients, and healthy for the end consumer.

1957
  • Start of Activity:Henrique Fiel Lourenço began his activity as a self-employed entrepreneur, focusing on the traditional vegetables and wines of the region.
1977
  • Henrique Fiel Lourenço LDA was founded:In the 1980s, the company focused on producing, exporting and importing potatoes.
1990
  • Marketing of imported products.Apples, pears, grapes, plums, peaches and nectarines were the first products sold. The company then progressed to exotic fruits such as mangoes and papayas.
2008
  • ISO 9001 Certificate.The first step towards safe and correct procedures.
2010
  • The brand Nativa was created.More than a brand, it’s a way of life. Over 30 products that bring all that is exotic to the table, that feed longed for childhood flavours. It took its first steps in 2010 and is now a prestigious brand, bearing a seal of warranty, care and excellence

2017
  • The Mon Petit Jardin brand was created.The fruit of our childhood imagination, of the land, the vegetables, the orchards of the past, Mon Petit Jardin is created in dreamy shades. Over 30 products are now part of this family, from mini vegetables to endives.
2018
  • IFS Food Certification.The highest requirement for our procedures was the next step. The hardest and most complete in this field of business. A constant challenge.
2020
  • Pure Exotic was created.Still taking its first steps in the marketing of less common exotic products, this range results from a growing need to meet clients’ expectations as they seek new products. For those clients whose palate takes them on flavourful journeys, clients that enjoy experimenting and sharing gastronomic experiences.
2021
  • Global GAP – Chain of Custody Certificate.A milestone representing our company’s level of demand, respecting the whole responsible and sustainable supply chain. We have brought our company into the future.
2022
  • Frutana papaya wins “Sabor do Ano” (Taste of the Year) Award in 2022.First excellence award won by our Frutana papaya. The recognition of our work. We’re so proud: an award won the first time we participated!
